Respiratory syncytial virus ( RSV ) is a common and contagious respiratory virus. People aged 60 or above and people with underlying diseases such as asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, and chronic heart failure can be infected with severe RSV . The risk is higher.
This is a vaccine given intramuscularly to prevent respiratory syncytial virus ( RSV ) in those aged 60 years or older. The effectiveness in preventing lower respiratory tract diseases caused by respiratory syncytial virus reaches 82.6%1 and among people with at least one comorbidity, the effectiveness in preventing lower respiratory tract diseases caused by respiratory syncytial virus reaches 94.6% , for people over 60 years old Brings protection.
- Suitable for people aged 60 or above to receive injections.
- About 6% of people with at least one comorbidity of concern are protected against lower respiratory tract disease caused by respiratory syncytial virus.

If you purchase a vaccine plan, please pay attention to the following vaccination instructions:
- After confirming the customer's successful payment, Yingjian Medical will call the customer to make an appointment within 2 working days during office hours. Customers can also call the hotline 3970 8888 to make an appointment. (Office hours: Monday to Saturday; 9 am to 7 pm)
- People who have allergic reactions to vaccine ingredients should not receive the injection.
- If you have a fever or are taking antibiotics on the day of injection, it is recommended to delay the injection.
- If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, or are receiving drug treatment (such as chemotherapy, steroids, etc.), you should consult a doctor for advice and guidance before receiving injections.
- If you are taking medicine but are not sure whether you can receive the vaccine, it is recommended to consult a doctor first or bring the relevant medicine to the medical staff for examination on the day of injection before deciding whether it is suitable for the injection.
- If after assessment by the doctor, you are not suitable for the vaccine injection, you will need to pay the doctor's consultation fee of HK$300 - $350. The difference will be refunded. The detailed charges will be based on the arrangements of the medical center.
