With the continuous aging of the population, the number of individuals with dementia is steadily increasing, becoming a significant public health issue in society. The rise in dementia cases places a heavy burden on care and medical resources, while also subjecting patients and their families to prolonged physical and psychological stress.

Early detection is crucial, enabling timely treatment to slow cognitive decline, maintain quality of life and dignity, and reduce caregiver burden.

What is the relationship between dementia and Alzheimer's disease?
Alzheimer's disease is the most common type of dementia, accounting for up to 74% of dementia cases¹. In Alzheimer's patients, excessive accumulation of abnormal proteins in the brain disrupts communication between nerve cells, leading to nerve cell death and brain atrophy.

What are the advantages of early detection?
If the disease is detected in its early stages, lifestyle and environmental changes, combined with treatment, can slow disease progression. Therefore, it is crucial not to miss the golden treatment window.

Early Alzheimer’s Screening Principle:
A simple blood draw is all that is needed to accurately measure the level of phosphorylated Tau217 protein (p-Tau217) in the blood, a biomarker associated with Alzheimer's disease (AD) pathology, to assess the risk of AD. Multiple studies have shown that the results of the p-Tau217 blood test closely correlate with those from traditional PET-CT scans and cerebrospinal fluid biomarkers.
