HPV (Human Papilloma Virus) is a common sexually transmitted infection HPV is known to cause various health problems, including development of genital warts over external genitalia or around the anus, and cervical cancer which commonly associated with high-risk HPV infection. Most early changes in cervical cells and precancers caused by HPV infection rarely cause symptoms, Phase Lab INDICAID™ HPV Urine Test is the World's first cervical cancer screening test with patented urine DNA concentration technology developed in Hong Kong. It can detect 27 types of HPV, including:
- 14 high-risk HPVs：16, 18, 31, 33, 35, 39, 45, 51, 52, 56, 58, 59, 66, 68
- 13 low-risk HPVs：6, 11, 26, 30, 34, 53, 67, 69, 70, 73, 82, 85, 97
The procedure is non-invasive, painless, private and easy to use for collecting your urine sample.
Individuals that may be at higher risk of HPV infection:
- Early first sexual intercourse
- Multiple sexual partners
- Active sex life
- Unsafe sex
- Regular smokers
- Chronic immunosuppression
- Use of contraceptive pills
- Pregnant / postpartum women
- Obtain a sample kit from the medical center, and the patient collects a urine sample themselves.
Before collecting the urine sample, please try to:
- Avoid drinking too many beverages
- Wash your hands thoroughly before sampling
- For women, avoid sampling during the menstrual period
Unscrew the cap of the sample bottle, and collect 90-100 ml of urine sample in the bottle.
Open the preservative bottle cap, and pour the preservative into the sample bottle containing the urine.
Recap the sample bottle tightly, and gently invert the bottle 3-5 times to mix the urine and preservative.
Use a ballpoint pen to fill in the sample label, and attach it to the filled sample bottle.
Place the sample bottle in the sample bag and seal it.
Finally, place the sealed sample bag in another sample bag and seal it.
Return the sealed sample to the selected medical center within 24 hours of sample collection.
Please store the sample at 15-30°C and away from direct sunlight.
The sample must be returned to the clinic within 24 hours of collection, otherwise there may be an administrative fee to arrange a new sample kit.
Women should avoid leaving samples during the menstrual period, as excess impurities may affect the results.

• Human Health will contact the customer within 2 working days after successful payment. Customers can also make a reservation by calling the hotline at 3628 9682 (Tsim Sha Tsui) / 2397 2111 (Mong Kok) during office hours.
• Customers must present their identity cards and order confirmation letter (printed or e-version) on the appointment day.
•When samples are returned, please ensure the following before
leaving:
a. The sample collection bottles do not have any leakage;
b. The sample labels have been filled in with a ball pen and attached to the filled collection bottles;
c. The collection bottles have been placed in the outer sample bags and sealed properly;
d. Customers must return the samples within 24 hours of collection, otherwise there may be an administrative fee for rearranging the sample kit.
•Check-up plan is applicable to people aged 18 or above only.
•Check-up plan is not applicable on Sundays and Public Holidays.
• This physical examination plan is valid for 6 months, and customers must complete the relevant examinations within 6 months (starting from the date of confirmed payment), after which the plan will expire
• Neither amendment nor cancellation is allowed once the payment has been confirmed. Also, it is not transferable nor refundable.
• All tests are not for the purpose of medical diagnosis or treatment.
• Offers cannot be used in conjunction with any other promotional offers or discounts and cannot be exchanged for cash or other products.
• In case of disputes, the decision of Human Health shall be final.
